Wishful Thinking

Polyvore is like a game to me. I love it. I could spend hours on it. The sun has made fall in love again with the maxi skirt. On polyvore I see there's one from topshop and I have created 3 outfits from this skirt.

Black Fringe Crop Top:Topshop
Red crop top: Topshop
Skirt: House of Fraiser
Grey Tee: Stylebop.com
Jacket: Tradesy.com
Orange Wedges: 6pm.com
Clogs: Topshop
Sun glasses: Sopurple.com

The clogs, the fringe and the boho style just screams seventies which is bang on trend at the moment. I love it. The denim jacket and grey tee gives it a dressed down, relaxed look which you can just slouch around in. The summer means festivals and even if (like me) you're not particularity a festival person, you can still go down to the Meadows, play some music and float about in your perfect maxi skirt.

I think this skirt would look great with a fine, cropped knit too. I'm from Scotland so the cold weather isn't ever far away. It's sort of drilled into us to add a jumper with everything.

I know where I can get most of these garments and, I just need the cash. I wonder where I could get that?

Until next time...

Welcome to My Wardobe: Summer Brights

The sun has arrived! To celebrate this rare occasion, I thought it was only right to bring out my yellow shirt and new skirt. (Yes, this is another outfit post, I'm getting the hang of these thanks to Ema

A Little Peaceful Pondering

For the past month I have been living on my own. My flatmate has been away and I have been spending time to collect my thoughts and think.

Welcome To My Wardobe: Monochrome Moods

It was very last minute that I decided to go to the Maison Bleue event and so I needed something new. I tried something a little different from what I usually wear.

Eating Edinburgh: Maison Bleue

Ooh La La! Maison Bleue has been refurbished and its all brand spanking new and blue! To celebrate it's new look and menu, the family run restaurant invited folk, Edinburgh Bloggers being a few, to have a taster of the food and a sneak preview. Take a look yourself...

Show Me The Buns.

On the 1st of April, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram went wild as ASOS revealed that they were going to introduce a clip on man bun. Inspired by the fashion statement for men, the clip on man was there so that the customers no longer need to wait to grow their locks. It caused a riot over social media. People saying how ridiculous it was, I saw a comment on Facebook, "I don't want to live on this Earth any more." Bit extreme.

Wishlist: Those Summer Nights

Summer is getting closer. The sun has made an appearance and so has my lighter jacket! Can I get a hell yeah?

Until the hail stones dropped from the sky like a "lol just kidding, get your jumper out" from God. Cheers pal.

So those couple of days of nice weather got me thinking of brighter outfits. To make this transition easier I think a lovely mint green is perfect.

Top: freepeople
Shoes:  Louboutins
Bag: simplybe.com

My wishlist includes a pencil skirt-H&M has this skirt in mint green too and I love it. A classic bralet and perfect shoes. My biggest wish is a sunny summer. I ORDER YOU ALL TO DO A SUN DANCE!

Until next time...

Eating Edinburgh: Steak on Stones

Since joining the "Edinburgh Bloggers" community, I have realised the perks of blogging. On Wednesday I discovered the wonderful perk of testing out a new steak restaurant that opened on Picardy Place a couple of weeks ago.

A Refresh at Temple Salon

Following on from my previous post, I mentioned that I was set back and quickly bounced back with a "no shit" attitude.

The clocks have gone forward, the nights are bright and it's time for a spring clean.

A Catch Up Cuppa: New Month. New Chapter

End of another month, start of another and another Brit saying, "Can you believe it's the first of April already?!"

No.No I can't
